Pleasant aftertaste of fresh green tea with hints of nuts. Sencha is made from young top leaves of the tea bush. The leaves are quickly steamed to halt fermentation and preserve their green color and fresh flavor. After steaming, the leaves are rolled and dried to a stable state, forming thin, needle-like leaves that unfold during brewing.
