This coffee comes from the Daye Bensa farm in the village of Shantawene, as well as from smallholder farmers in the surrounding villages. The farms and coffee fields are located at 1900–2400 m a.s.l., creating ideal conditions for the development of a complex flavor profile. Daye Bensa works closely with local farmers and operates 15 washing stations. The company places a strong emphasis on cherry quality and collaboration with producers, regularly rewarding the best farmers.
