Gera is a wet, humus-rich highland region in western ethiopia, covered by ancient forests, mountains and the naso river. Gera farm, established in 2008 by family-owned exporter tracon, cultivates 228 ha of coffee and 280 ha of seedlings, practices beekeeping and fruit growing, and produces organic coffee while awaiting utz and rainforest alliance certification.
