Uraga, located in the Guji zone in southern Ethiopia, is a highland, forested area recognized as the birthplace of coffee. This region is characterized by volcanic soils, a tropical climate, and young Arabica varieties (74410 and 74412) grown on small family farms. The Haro Wachu station, operated by the company Tracon, has been producing mainly washed coffees and experimental lots from over 500 local farmers.
