This arabica coffee is grown in one of the privileged regions of el salvador, which provides it with abundant nutrients that help to produce a cup that remains consistent year after year. The harvest always takes place around the end of november or the beginning of december and ends at the end of february or the beginning of march. Finca altamira’s coffee is cultivated in el salvador’s “golden belt.” it is named for its exceptional quality, boasting ideal conditions for producing coffee renowned for its aroma and smoothness. Its altitude, between 1200 and 1600 meters above sea level, is perfect, with abundant rainfall of 3000 mm annually. Furthermore, the rich volcanic soil, with its fine sandy loam texture and abundance of phosphorus and potassium, is naturally fertilized. Combined with the skilled hands of salvadoran farmers, this contributes to the production of this excellent quality coffee.
